Dog or cat has a microchip, rabies vaccination and passport issued on day one. After 30 days dog or cat is taken to vet clinic for a blood titre test which is then sent to an EU approved laboratory usually in Prague. Results can take up to two weeks to come back depending on how busy the lab is. The dog or cat can travel 12 weeks from the date the blood is taken. So the total length of the process is 16 weeks. This is due to Moldova not being an EU member.

The vet clinic charges €250 for the above process. There is no adoption fee for the dog or cat. There is onward travel costs involved from Moldova to UK for example is circa €220-250 or for Europe e.g. Germany €130-180.

We can arrange transportation with an authorized animal transportation company or in some cases, adopter has come to Moldova to collect.
